We will start at Plaza Sotomayor, where we will learn about the history of the port, its importance for Chile, and its historic buildings. We will visit the Pacific War Monument and then venture into the traditional neighborhoods of Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepción, exploring their vibrant streets, colorful houses, and viewpoints. We will also stroll through their narrow streets, which are rich in the culture and urban art that define this World Heritage City.
We will visit the Paseo Yugoslavo to enjoy a spectacular view of the bay, and we will see the Piano Staircase and the famous Red Door.
We will also pass by Pablo Neruda's house (La Sebastiana, exterior view), where you will learn about the life of the Nobel Prize-winning poet and his connection to the sea.
We will conclude our tour in the port area and at Muelle Prat, where you will have the opportunity to take photographs of this historic setting.
This experience is rich in history, culture, and unforgettable views. We will then continue to Viña del Mar, known as the Garden City, starting with a stop at the iconic Flower Clock for photos.
Next, we will visit Wulff Castle, where we will enjoy a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and learn about some of the city's history.
We will also visit the Fonck Museum from the outside, where we will see an authentic moai from Easter Island. We will then continue along Avenida Perú and the waterfront, enjoying a panoramic view of the ocean.
Next, we will visit Quinta Vergara, where we will see the amphitheater used for the famous Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
To round off the experience, we will head to the Casablanca Valley, to the renowned Casas del Bosque Vineyard, which is ranked among the 50 best vineyards in the world. There, you will have the option to have lunch at the Tanino Winery Restaurant, recognized as one of the 20 best winery restaurants in the world, followed by a wine tour. During the tour, we will visit the vineyards, learn about the winemaking process, tour the barrel cellar, and enjoy a tasting of premium wines in a stunning natural setting.
