Description

Discover inner peace near Lama Temple with a Tibetan-style meditation, authentic tea ceremony in a quiet hutong, and guided walk through Beijing’s alleys. Enjoy local street snacks.
Escape the noise of Beijing and discover a hidden sanctuary in the heart of the city. Nestled in a quiet alley near the famous Lama Temple (Yonghegong), this private Tibetan-influenced meditation space offers a unique and peaceful cultural experience.

Led by a local practitioner, begin your morning with a guided meditation session focused on mindfulness and breath awareness. Surrounded by symbols of Tibetan Buddhism such as statues and thangka (prayer cards), learn basic meditation techniques and optionally take part in traditional bowing rituals at your comfort level.

After your quiet inner journey, enjoy a moment of reflection with a traditional tea session. Savor the aroma and stillness as your guide shares the cultural background of the space and its spiritual influences.

Then, step into the vibrant world of old Beijing with a guided walk through nearby hutongs. Learn about the daily life, history, and culture of these alleyways, and stop along the way to sample 3–4 classic local street snacks — from tofu pudding to handmade dumplings — at small, family-run shops.

This small-group tour is perfect for curious travelers seeking peace, authenticity, and a slower, more meaningful perspective of Beijing life.
