In the morning, explore the Guihai Qinglan Scenic Area, known as "Guilin Little Switzerland." Covering an area of 3,600 mu, this scenic spot combines vast grasslands, karst peaks, and clear lakes. It is a perfect leisure destination for couples, families, and small groups.

Visit Swan Lake and the Lonely Tree, the most popular photo spots. Watch a flock of black swans swimming on the lake and feed them. The reflection of mountains on the water creates stunning oil-painting-style photos, ideal for sunset shooting.

Stroll, have a picnic, or fly kites on the wide lawn surrounded by unique Guilin peaks. No steep climbing is required, making it friendly for seniors and kids.

In the afternoon, go to Gudong Waterfall Scenic Area, known as the only climbable waterfall cluster in China. Gudong Waterfall is located 25 km away from downtown Guilin, surrounded by lush primeval forest with a 96% forest coverage rate, perfect for a summer escape and outdoor water activities.

Breathe fresh air with high negative oxygen ions in the forest. From November to December, thousands of maple trees turn fiery red, offering fantastic photography scenes.

There are 8 main tiers of waterfalls with a total drop of 90 meters. Climb upstream along stone pits and safety chains with provided straw sandals and safety helmets. The lower tiers are gentle for kids and seniors, while upper tiers bring exciting water splashes. Dry mountain trails are available for visitors who prefer sightseeing without getting wet. You can enjoy free upstream climbing on the 6 climbable tiers of waterfalls, with climbing routes, safety chains and pedestrian trails all included.

Note:

The entrance ticket includes waterfall sightseeing and the right to climb waterfalls.
Climbing equipment (straw shoes, safety helmet, raincoat) is optional extra fee, need to rent on-site at your own expense, mandatory for waterfall climbing.

Children can climb the gentle sections of Gudong Waterfall under parental supervision.
Tier 1 (the steepest): Children under 14 years old or shorter than 1.5m are not allowed to climb.
Tiers 2-5 (gentle water sections): Suitable for kids over 4 years old (above 1.2m) with adult accompaniment.
