Description

Explore Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Wuzhen, and Hangzhou on a 7-day tour. Discover ancient water gates, stroll through wetland parks, and visit a working silk factory.
Day 1: Shanghai

Get picked up from Shanghai Pudong Airport (PVG), Shanghai Hongqiao Airport (SHA), or Hongqiao High-Speed Rail Station and head to your hotel.

Day 2: Shanghai / Nanjing

After breakfast, head to Nanjing, once the capital of six dynasties. First, stop at the Dongshuiguan Ruins Park, where an ancient water gate and old city walls still stand side by side. Then, wander Laomendong on the Qinhuai River—the heart of old Nanjing—where lantern-lit alleys, traditional shops, and modern cafés blend into one lively, picture-perfect scene.

Day 3: Nanjing / Wuxi

After breakfast, visit the centuries-old Grand Bao’en Temple, where peaceful chants and a crystal Buddhist art exhibit offer a quiet moment away from the city. Next, stop at a jade museum—Nanjing’s “Stone City” is famous for delicate carvings that rival the best woodwork in China. After lunch, drive to Wuxi to stroll Taihu Lake and tour the Purple-Clay Teapot Museum. Each tiny teapot has its own story, shaped by centuries of craft and still untouched by time.

Day 4: Wuxi/Suzhou

After breakfast, take a relaxing walk in Changguangxi Wetland Park, a national eco-park that mixes nature, leisure, and culture. Next, visit the Taihu Pearl Gallery, then drive to Suzhou. From outside, see Panmen Gate—China’s best-preserved water-and-land gate built 2,500 years ago. Finish at Jinji Lake, the modern “new paradise” of Suzhou, where the Suzhou “Bird’s Nest” blends classic gardens with bold new architecture.

Day 5: Suzhou / Wuzhen / Hangzhou

After breakfast, see how silk is made at a working silk factory, then head to Wuzhen—a 5-star water town often called “the last riverside village in China” and famous as the film set for 'Time flows like water'. After a quick stop at a wellness center, arrive in Hangzhou, “paradise on earth.” Stroll West Lake, framed by green hills and classic pavilions, and catch postcard views of Three Pools Mirroring the Moon and Leifeng Pagoda at sunset.

Day 6: Hangzhou / Shanghai

After breakfast, visit Longjing tea village for a walk among the terraces and a cup of China’s most famous green tea. Then head to Shanghai. Stop by a health-care center before exploring the Bund—Shanghai’s historic riverfront lined with 52 grand old buildings and modern landmarks like the Global Financial Center. Across the Huangpu River, snap photos of the futuristic Oriental Pearl Tower and the gleaming skyline of Pudong.

Day 7: Shanghai

After breakfast, get transferred from your hotel to either Shanghai Pudong Airport (PVG), Shanghai Hongqiao Airport (SHA), or Hongqiao High-Speed Rail Station.
