Begin your day with a high-speed rail journey from Shanghai to Hangzhou, the legendary "Paradise on Earth." Upon arrival, take the Grand Canal Water Bus along the 13-kilometer circular route, passing Gongchen Bridge, Qiaoxi Historic Block, and Xiahe Ancient Street, experiencing the ancient canal culture.
Near the Grand Canal Water Bus stop by Gongchen Bridge, craft lovers can join a paid hands-on workshop to make their own traditional oil-paper umbrella, available as an optional activity.
Stop for lunch at Shenglihe Food Street near the canal, and enjoy classic Hangzhou dishes such as Beggar’s Chicken and Dongpo Pork.
After lunch, cruise West Lake past Santan Yinyue, Su Causeway, and Bai Causeway, enjoy lakeside scenery and cultural storytelling.
