Description

Your private group escape to Capurganá, a rustic, car-free, natural wellness village on Colombia’s Caribbean coast with a day hike to Panama, natural pools, aqua-green waters and nature reserves!
Day 1
Meeting point and Flight Departure: Please meet at Medellin Regional Airport (EOH – Aeropuerto Olaya Herrera) at the designated meeting time and location (TBD).
Flight time: 45 minutes – 1 hour

Capurganá Arrival and Transfer: Our local host will meet us at the airport to assist with our transfer and luggage.

Before we start our first adventure, we will enjoy lunch at the hotel, then set out to walk the rugged coast to enjoy play and relaxation in 2-3 natural pools and spectacular views.

Day 2
After breakfast, you will set out on a hiking excursion through a nature reserve of fascination with flora, fauna and vistas to a local fishing village in Sapzurro with a tranquil, tropical bay of white sand beaches. If conditions do not permit hiking, you will embark by boat to Sapzurro. You will rest and recharge with a local, fresh lunch, relaxation at the beach, then continue your hike to La Miel, a Panamanian village and spend time at the beach before heading back to Capurgana by boat.
The ascent to the border of Panama is a moderate uphill climb of stairs with spectacular views.

Day 3
You will take an excursion by boat to Soledad Beach and Aguacate Bay known for their stunning white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise and green water, coral reefs, colorful fish, green turtles, if we are lucky, and snorkeling. You will return to Capurgana for free time and relaxation.

Day 4
Airport transfer for domestic flight from Capurgana (CPB) to Medellin (EOH). Connect your trip to our 8-day Immersive Cultural Tour of Medellin before or after Capurgana.

Air Inclusive Flight: Regional flights to/from Capurganá are operated by regional airline companies. Airplanes are twin-engine, short-range transport aircraft such as a Let 410 or a Cesna 402C.

Rustic Experience: This is a very natural, rustic and local experience. The town does have security, electrical power, solar power, running water, and Wi-Fi, but energy and water resources must be conserved. The 3-star cabaña hotel may or may not have air conditioning, but at a minimum a fan will be provided in each room.

Luggage: Bring 1 backpack and 1 small personal item per person. If you bring or accumulate more luggage or larger luggage, you may be required to book private transfers to accommodate your luggage at your own expense or pay luggage storage fees

Cancellations

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
