Immerse yourself in the mud volcano surrounded by nature and enjoy the properties for your skin and your health (The volcano contains water, silicon, aluminum, magnesium, calcium, iron among others.
Pickup will begin at 8:00 a.m. in a large, air-conditioned van or bus. All clients staying in the historic center must arrive at the meeting point.
Pickup times are as follows:
Walled city 8:00 am
Bocagrande 8:25 am
Marbella - Crespo: 9:00 am
Morros: 9:15 am
We are punctual with pick up times, that is why we ask our customers to be punctual.
After passing through the "Boquilla" neighborhood we head to the Mud Volcano, the tour lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour during which we will see landscapes full of green nature and some hills and beaches.
When we arrive at the volcano we must get off the bus, in a swimsuit and flip flops with only the phones for those who want the locals to take photos.
For safety, we will get back on the buses when all the tour participants have left the volcano and have removed the mud. The natives will wait outside the bus for the tip in exchange for the services offered (photos, massages and mud removal).
Afterwards we will go to a hotel and private beach club where we can access public facilities such as bathrooms, pools, chairs, hammocks, swings and the beach. In this place we will have three lunch options.
The guide will be with you throughout the tour.

Do not wear new clothes inside the volcano or jewelry.
Once the clients get off the bus, we close it until all the clients have left the volcano and have removed the mud for safety.
This place is not supported by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia or by the Government of Bolívar. Spontaneously, it is the Totumo Volcano Workers Association and their families who manage this site, that is, they are local and native people who work there, there are 3 people on the tour who will help you by taking photos, giving you massages and helping you remove the mud for an additional tip, please bring small bills to tip if you want to use their services.
Clients who are in the walled city must arrive at the meeting point (Camellon de los Martires at 8:00 am). Clients staying in Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, Laguito, Zona Norte and Boquilla will be picked up in the lobby of their hotel or at the point closest to the main avenue. The guide will be in contact with clients.
Pickup is not offered at Manzanillo del Mar hotels; Hotel Dreams, Estelar Playa Manzanillo, Manga Neiborhood or any hotel outside the walled city, Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, Laguito, Zona Norte and Boquilla. We will pick you up at your location, depending on where you are staying; If you are outside the pick-up area, you must arrive at the meeting point by 8:00 am.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
