The farm Bosque de Niebla Birding and Nature is located in a prime spot for birdwatching, with over 300 species of birds in the area, including various types of hummingbirds like the silfo de king. Having a guide like Luis helping us identify the birds will certainly enhance the experience.
Starting early in the morning at 6 A.M. will give you the best chance to see the birds when they are most active, and the panoramic view of the Andean forest is sure to be breathtaking. The small snack at the farm will give you an opportunity to rest and refuel before continuing the bird-watching adventure.
Bringing your own binoculars and leaving plastic bottles behind are small but important steps that can make a big difference in preserving the natural habitat for the birds and other wildlife. Its an exciting and educational experience that will leave you with a greater appreciation for the beauty and diversity of nature.
