Upon arrival in Guatapé, visit the famous Piedra del Peñol, an impressive 220-meter monolith. The climb to the top, comprised of 720 steps, is optional for those who wish to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views.

Next, head to the replica of Old Peñol, a town that was flooded for the construction of the dam. Here, board a traditional local boat for a one-hour tour, accompanied by Colombian music and drinks, while learning about the hidden stories of the region.
