Experience the complete coffee process on a traditional farm and end the day with an open bar and pool at Corona House, from Medellín.
Enjoy an authentic coffee experience around Medellín and learn about every stage of the Colombian coffee process, from the seed to the cup. This tour is designed for travelers who want to learn, actively participate, and enjoy a complete cultural experience on a traditional family farm.
The experience starts with a pick-up from your accommodation (hotel, house, or apartment) in Medellín. Please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the tour begins. The transfer to the farm takes about 45 minutes, arriving at the San Sebastián de Palmitas district, where La Finca La Arrinconada is located, 1,750 meters above sea level.
Upon arrival, visitors get a welcome drink and an introduction to the world of coffee, covering its history, origin, and cultural relevance. For the activity, typical clothing (poncho, hat, basket, and accessories) is provided, allowing for a more immersive experience.
During the guided tour of the farm, you'll participate in:
• Visit the coffee plantations and pick your own coffee
• Seedbed planting demo
• Friendly coffee picking contest
• Processing of harvested coffee: pulping, drying, roasting, and grinding
Later, you'll enjoy a guided coffee tasting with a professional barista, using different preparation methods to identify aromas, flavors, and sensory profiles.
The tour includes a typical lunch, dessert, a souvenir, and free time for shopping on the farm.
At the end of the coffee experience, the tour continues to Corona House, an exclusive Viajes Corona space located in Envigado. Here you can relax and end the day with access to the pool and open bar for an hour, in a comfortable and social atmosphere.
You'll be back at your accommodation between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. approximately.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
