Description

Discover Medellín beyond the usual! Ride the MetroCable, hike lush hills, spot birds, enjoy local snacks & a scenic picnic—an epic journey through stories, views, and vibrant local life.
This is the Medellín we love—and we can’t wait to share it with you. Not the version in glossy brochures, but the one we know by heart: full of flavor, resilience, nature, and community spirit. We’re a crew of local friends who live for these hills, this view, and this energy. Come join us for a half-day adventure that goes beyond sightseeing—it’s about movement, stories, and connection. ️

We kick off at Poblado Station at 9:30 AM ⏰, where your guide (and new friend) welcomes the group. From there, we ride together across the city by metro and Metrocable —floating above Medellín’s rooftops, watching neighborhoods give way to mountains. The journey itself is a thrill, with 360° views that only locals usually get to see.

Once we hop off at El Progreso Station, it’s time to hit the trail. We start our walk through a vibrant hillside neighborhood, where daily life unfolds with music, color, and warmth. Along the way, we stop at a local panadería for a fresh buñuelo—hot, cheesy, and impossible not to love.

As we climb toward Cerro El Picacho, you’ll start to feel the buzz of nature taking over. Lush greenery surrounds us, birds flit above , and the city below begins to shrink. This is where stories come to life—how our communities have transformed, how these spaces were reclaimed, and how proud we are to see them thriving.

At the summit, you'll meet the Cristo del Picacho ✝️, watching over the valley like a guardian. We pause here—breathe, stretch, take in the view, and snap that photo you'll want to frame later. And then, the heart of the experience: a lovingly prepared fiambre antioqueño picnic . It’s not just delicious—it’s a celebration. We sit, eat, and share stories while soaking up a view that’s pure magic. ✨

The hike back down is relaxed and filled with laughter and conversation ️, as we retrace our steps to El Progreso Station. By 2:00 PM , we wrap up the tour—but the memory? That’ll stay with you. ❤️

This is a tour for the curious, for the active, and for those who want to feel a city—not just see it. You don’t need to be a hiker—just bring comfy shoes and an open heart. We'll take care of the rest. Come explore our Medellín—raw, proud, green, and unforgettable.
