Experience a unique adventure in Corcovado: take a boat to Sirena, spend the night at the station, and the next day hike 18 km to La Leona surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure in Corcovado National Park, one of the most biodiverse rainforests on the planet. The tour begins early in the morning in Puerto Jiménez, at 5:20 a.m., where you can leave your vehicle in our private parking lot a few meters from the pier. From there, you will board a scenic boat to the Sirena Biological Station, enjoying the coastal tour with the possibility of seeing dolphins and sea turtles.
Upon arrival at Sirena, you will begin guided hikes along trails through primary and secondary forests, crossing small rivers and exploring the wildlife. With luck, you may encounter tapirs, monkeys, macaws, toucans, and coatis. The stay includes lunch and accommodation at the station, surrounded by the rainforest.
The second day begins early, at 5:00 a.m., with a packed breakfast to go. You will begin the journey on foot from Sirena to La Leona station, a hike of approximately 18 km that combines trails through the jungle and along the beach. The hike takes about 8 hours, offering spectacular views and the opportunity to observe more wildlife in its natural habitat.
Upon arrival at La Leona, collective transportation awaits you, with a journey of about 1 hour and 30 minutes back to Puerto Jiménez, where your experience ends. This tour combines boating, challenging hikes, and the privilege of spending the night in the heart of Corcovado, ideal for nature and adventure lovers.

To obtain permits for Corcovado National Park, it is mandatory to provide full names and passport numbers (copies are accepted).
• The daily quota for overnight stays at Sirena Station is limited to a maximum of 100 visitors and tends to sell out quickly. Advance reservations are recommended.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
