Discover one of the hidden mysteries of Costa Rica tucked next to the Tenorio Volcano on a guided tour. Take a 4-hour hike through the beautiful rainforest, visit the lagoon and Los Teñideros, and see the Rio Celeste Waterfall.
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in La Fortuna and head to the Tenorio Volcano National Park. Along the way, visit the lagoon and Los Teñideros, a magical place where two streams with different minerals and chemical composition meet and change the water to a heavenly turquoise blue color.
Continue to the magnificent Rio Celeste Waterfall. After the national park, stop for a picture with the giant Arbol de la Paz. Then, visit Don Alexis Farm, a place just outside the park, to have a delicious Costa Rican lunch.
After lunch, hike through the farm to check cacao, pineapple, corn, banana, and many more plantations. Finish by enjoying a pristine pool in the Rio Celeste to swim, play soccer, or just relax on a hammock. After this relaxing time, head back to La Fortuna.
