Don’t lose a day traveling! On this full-day tour you will enjoy a great day of rafting on the way from San Jose to La Fortuna, or vice versa. You will be picked up from your San Jose hotel and will stop en route to raft some of Costa Rica’s best whitewater runs before a drop-off in La Fortuna. The tour can also be taken in the opposite direction.
After your hotel pick-up you will stop at the beautiful Balsa River and take the plunge down the spectacular class 2 and 3 tropical river. Enjoy up to 2 exhilarating hours of whitewater action, as you get wet-and-wild through rapids such as “Magnetic Rock” and “Dredges.”
Enjoy a swim, feast on some fresh tropical fruits and savor refreshing cold drinks, followed by a hearty Costa Rican lunch at the end of your journey.
After lunch continue to La Fortuna or San Jose, where we will drop you off at your hotel, ready for your next day’s adventure. Not only is this is a great way to maximize your vacation time, it will save you money while you have the thrilling whitewater raft of your life.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
