Description

Discover the true local vibe of Zagreb on a guided city walk. Stroll through a bustling farmers' market, enjoy a local drink, and receive a small traditional gift at a cozy neighborhood café.
Skip the scripted sightseeing and get a real feel for Zagreb through conversation, neighborhood atmosphere, and everyday local life. This small-group experience is built around an open, honest Q&A—bring your curiosity and ask anything about Zagreb, Croatia, and the Balkans, from culture and daily life to history and heritage.

We start at Zagreb’s classic meeting point under the horse statue at Ban Jelačić Square. From there, we stroll along Jurišićeva Street to take in the city’s grand Austro-Hungarian architecture. As we cross Draškovićeva Street and continue down Martićeva Street, you’ll notice the city’s energy shift—tourist center gives way to authentic neighborhood rhythm.

Next, we stop by the farmers’ market at Kvaternik Square (Kvatrić), a cornerstone of local routine. Browse seasonal produce and soak up the midday buzz before we settle into a carefully chosen neighborhood café—because in Croatia, coffee culture is a ritual and comfort matters.

Once seated, the floor is yours. Your first drink is included (coffee, tea, beer, juice, or a traditional local option), along with a small surprise token of appreciation. The tour officially ends at Kvaternik Square, with easy tram links back to the center—and you’ll leave with local lunch tips and a deeper, more personal understanding of the city.
