WHAT TO EXPECT

Start with pickup from your hotel in Puerto Madryn and travel to the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretive Center, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Gulfs Nuevo and San Jose while learning about the peninsula's unique ecosystem with your expert, bilingual guide.

Continue to Puerto Pirámides, the only town within the reserve. During the whale season (June–December), you will have the option of booking a whale-watching boat trip (not included). In summer and fall, enjoy pristine beaches and breathtaking coastal landscapes.

Travel to Caleta Valdés, a remarkable geological formation that is home to colonies of sea lions and elephant seals. Starting in September, visit Punta Cantor to observe the Magellanic Penguin colony in its breeding areas.

During summer and fall (December–June), the tour includes Punta Norte, where you can witness orcas hunting near the coast, one of nature's most awe-inspiring spectacles.
