We'll stroll through the beautiful gardens of Rosenborg, where tulips and roses paint the shores of the pond surrounding the fortress with vibrant colors. Construction on the building began in the early 17th century, under the orders of Danish King Christian IV.

We'll learn some fun facts about the military and amorous conquests of this monarch, known as "the builder king." Once inside Rosenborg Palace (also known as the "rose" castle because of its color), we'll visit its palatial rooms. You'll see the meticulous ornamentation of the royal halls and bedrooms, decorated down to the smallest detail following the artistic canons of the time.

During our visit, we'll also get to see the chamber where the Danish Royal Family's jewels are kept. A large set of crowns, sceptres, tiaras, earrings, and necklaces from the 15th to the 19th centuries complete an outstanding collection where you'll notice the gleaming shine of the different pieces. Some of them are used in official acts by Crown Princess Mary and the current Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II.
