Description

Travel through Lund's landmarks with an audio guide based on the story of Locus Peccatorum, an 1829 true crime story site. Solve the murder as you visit the cathedral, Lundagård, and other locations.
The story of Locus Peccatorum begins when two students arrive from the Gothenburg area to study at Lund University in 1825. Four years later, a murder has been committed and the student body organization has been changed forever. Do you want to know more about what happened? Step into the story and travel back in time for a walk through Lund as it was two hundred years ago.

This audio walking tour invites you to explore the central parts of Lund with your digital guide; a criminology student at the university. Once she started reading about the 1829 murder, she couldn’t let it go. Instead, she started digging through university and trial protocols, to find more information about the tragic event. Listen to your digital guide tell the story of what happened while you follow her directions to the locations where it took place.

To walk this tour you’ll download a user friendly app. The app is equipped with a map, GPS and a guide which makes sure you walk in the right direction. Once you have purchased the tour it is yours to keep. You can use it at any time and as many times as you wish.

Through the app, you can interact with photographs and excerpts of original documents that are hundreds of years old. You will see what the city used to look like and what the lives of the people involved were like.
