Drive a buggy, ATV, or Kayo through off-road trails in Punta Cana. Swim in a cenote, visit Macao Beach, and enjoy tastings at a local ranch.
Ready for a local off-road experience in Bávaro, Punta Cana?
Start at a traditional ranch in Macao, a real Dominican countryside community away from the resort areas. After check-in and a short safety orientation, enjoy tastings of chocolate, coffee, tea, and mamajuana before choosing your vehicle.
Choose the ride that best fits your adventure style. The Buggy is easy to drive and offers plenty of muddy fun, the ATV provides a more technical riding experience with less mud splash, and the Kayo is our premium option, offering more power, comfort, and performance.
**Drivers must be at least 16 years old** to operate a Buggy or ATV. Participants between **16 and 18 years old** must hold a valid learner's permit or driver's license issued in their home country, or successfully demonstrate their ability to safely operate the vehicle during a driving assessment conducted by our staff before the tour begins. Participants under 16 years of age may ride only as passengers.
Please bring sunglasses and a bandana, as trail conditions may be dusty during dry weather or muddy after rainfall.
Your adventure follows scenic countryside off-road trails leading to the natural cenote at El Salado, where you'll have time to cool off with a refreshing swim and take photos. The excursion then continues to the beautiful Macao Beach, where you can relax, rinse off, and enjoy one of Punta Cana's most famous public beaches. Ocean conditions can vary, so guests should exercise caution when entering the water.
This is an authentic Dominican countryside experience. Along portions of the route you may encounter local residents, small roadside markets, souvenir stands, and independent vendors. These vendors are **not affiliated with our company**, and any purchases are entirely optional. If you are not interested, a simple "No, thank you" is perfectly acceptable.
Please note that the off-road trail is a **shared public route** used by several licensed excursion operators in the area. It is normal to encounter buggies, ATVs, and other tour vehicles from different companies traveling to the same attractions. Our guides manage our convoy following established safety procedures, including speed limits, safe following distances, and pre-departure safety briefings to help ensure a safe experience for all participants.
At the end of the excursion, return to the ranch where you may view and purchase your professional tour photos and browse locally made souvenirs. Photo packages and souvenir purchases are completely optional.
Daily departures are available at **8:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 2:30 PM**.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Trails may be dusty or muddy depending on weather conditions, which can affect visibility while driving.
Local vendors may be present at some stops, including the cenote and the beach. These vendors operate independently and are not affiliated with our tour operation. Any purchases are completely optional.
For guests who prefer smoother steering and more responsive braking, we recommend choosing an ATV or Kayo. Buggies are handcrafted off-road vehicles and may be more challenging to drive for guests without prior experience. They also feature an open chassis, so during rainy days or when driving through deep mud, water or mud may reach the engine area and cause the vehicle to temporarily stop. This is part of the normal behavior of rustic off-road vehicles.
At the end of the tour, our guides may kindly invite guests to leave an honest review. This is completely optional. There is no pressure to leave a positive review; it is simply a friendly reminder once you return to your hotel.
