We will walk through the streets of Quito's historic center, a World Heritage Site, and learn about its history, but not only from the conventional (and male) perspective.
We will rescue from oblivion those women who, in the best of cases, have been known as "wife, lover, daughter, niece..." of a man, and whose names and achievements have been erased for centuries. In this way, we will understand the situation of women throughout the country's history, including the present day. During the tour, we will taste different gastronomic delights of the city.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you are traveling alone, please check availability before booking. The tour is on foot and is an easy route, however, in certain places there are steps and no ramps. The tour is not exclusively for women, however, it will be the focus of the tour and is a safe space for both women and other minorities. No violence of any kind will be tolerated during the tour.
We will meet in front of the ticket office of the Basilica del Voto Nacional church, located on the left side of the side entrance on Carchi Street. The tour guide will be holding a sign with the logo and name.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
