From Quito: 3-Day Mitad del Mundo, Teleferico & Mindo

Spend three days exploring Mitad del Mundo, Teleferico and Mindo from Quito. Enjoy walking through a UNESCO city, a private protected forest and visiting the Equator line.
Day 1: Enjoy a reception at Quito Airport and then check-in at your hotel. You will start the tour early and head to the historical center of the first city to named as a UNESCO Prime Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Follow the Avenue Gran Colombia through to the Church of the Basilica of the National Vow to Independence Square through to the colonial streets on this cathedral walking tour. You will also see the Government Palace and Archbishop, the Church of the Society of Jesus and the Church of San Francisco built in the 16th Century. Later, arrive at the Mirador del Panecillo, where you'll find a sculpture of the Virgin Mary and can admire a beautiful landscape of colonial and modern Quito. Continue north on one of the expressways that will lead you directly to the Intiñan Museum, where you will experience and feel like you are in the middle of the world. Then head toward Mitad del Mundo, a representation of the cities with colonial era architecture and also see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere southern hemisphere, where you can take pictures with one foot in each hemisphere. Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel from 07:00 - 08:00. Leaving from Quito, appreciate the impressive change of vegetation and climate as you travel to Mindo Cloud Forest. Walk through the private protected forest with crystal clear rivers and observe more than 400 exotic species of birds, butterflies and orchids. Time for lunch (included) and return to Quito.

Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Start the tour at 10:00 from the hotel lobby and go towards the cable car city located on Western Avenue for a unique viewing point of the city and if the weather permits, you will to be able to observe the Avenue of the Volcanoes (Andes). Check out of your hotel and then transfer to the airport.
