Description
We will start with Ecuador's golden nugget, which is cacao. You will see the process from the fruit to chocolate to the cup. Then you will walk through the colonial streets of Quito's Historic Center.
The tour will begin at Loma Grande (La Mama Cuchara) where you will have a tasting and observe the process of how the cacao bean is transformed into chocolate. Afterwards, you will walk through the colonial streets with explanations along the way. You will visit the Plaza de Santo Domingo, the Plaza San Francisco (if you wish to enter the convent and the towers of San Francisco, there is an additional price), we will walk to the Compañía de Jesús and its domes. After we finish the tour, we will head to the Church of the Tabernacle with its respective explanation, and at the end of the tour, we will visit the Plaza de la Independencia.
