On this tour we will see most of highlights in Old Town and explore medieval "strange things" & daily life.
Old Tallinn is one of the best-preserved medieval cities, declared Unesco site in 1997. Exploring its streets, squares and landmarks we will discuss festivity, justice, medicine and other aspects of local everyday life in the Middle Ages.

We will know how people celebrated Shrovetide, how often they organised parties and how they treated drunk guests... What crimes were considered serious and petty, who had to wear stone of shame or how hair pulling was punished... What diseases people treated with "unicorn horn" and who they called Blackheads...

Plenty of medieval curiosities await to be told. Welcome!
