Dog sledding is more than just an activity — it is a tradition deeply rooted in Arctic culture. At Sled Husky Adventures, we are proud to share this unique way of traveling through nature. Our experienced guides will introduce you to the basics of mushing, including how to steer and control the sled. No previous experience is required. After a clear safety briefing and driving instructions, you and your partner will take turns driving the sled while the other enjoys the ride as a passenger.

As the huskies eagerly set off down the trail, you will feel the quiet power and teamwork of the dogs pulling together. The only sounds you’ll hear are the soft glide of the sled on snow and the rhythm of paws running through the Arctic landscape. Depending on the tour you choose, you may travel through peaceful forest trails, across open snowy fields, or along frozen waterways, fully immersed in Lapland’s untouched nature.

We operate in small groups to ensure a personal and relaxed atmosphere. This allows us to give every guest individual attention and time to truly enjoy the experience. After the safari, you’ll have time to meet the dogs, take photos, and learn more about their daily lives at the kennel.

Depending on the season and time of day, your adventure may take place under the soft colors of the winter sun, the magical blue light of polar twilight, or even beneath the dancing Northern Lights. Each safari offers a unique atmosphere shaped by the Arctic weather and landscape.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
