Experience the magic of Lapland on a Northern Lights safari. Drive an electric snowmobile, meet reindeer, and enjoy a campfire in the wilderness.
Begin your adventure with a pickup from Rovaniemi and head to Porovaara's private area. Get kitted out with warm winter clothing, boots, and a helmet, and receive expert guiding and snowmobile driving instructions.

Hop on an electric snowmobile and drive along private trails for approximately 50 minutes. Share the snowmobile with another person, with the option to swap drivers halfway through. Take a break on a private route to admire Lapland's nature and peace.

Next, visit a private reindeer fence to meet and feed the reindeer. Learn about these majestic creatures from your guide and see them in their natural habitat.

Afterward, gather around a campfire to grill sausages and enjoy a hot drink. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, far away from the city’s light pollution.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so their visibility cannot be guaranteed.
The minimum number of participants required for this activity is two paying adults.
This activity depends on snow. If the snowmobile tour is cancelled because of the lack of snow, the refund is 100%.
Duration of 3 hours includes the transport time needed to arrive to our location and to return to the pick-up place.
Driver must be at least 18 years old with a driving license, which is valid in Finland.
You are not allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while driving.
2 people (from the same family or group) get on one snowmobile. Drivers are changed halfway through the ride if necessary.
The guide is followed by a sleigh where the children under 12 years old can go.
Pick-ups 10 km from Rovaniemi city center are included in the price. Pick-ups further than 10 km from city center are possible with extra fee (+ 2 €/km), which can be paid to the guide.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
