Meet your guide at the Hotel Metsähirvas reception and get dressed in the thermal clothing provided for the experience. Receive winter overalls, boots, gloves, a hat, and wool socks to help you stay warm in Arctic conditions.
Before departure, the local team gives instructions in English or Finnish so you can feel prepared and comfortable before driving. Then, set out on a self-driven husky safari of about 7 to 10 kilometers through Lapland's winter scenery.
Travel with a small group for a quieter and more intimate atmosphere as you glide along snowy trails pulled by eager huskies. Along the way, take in the peaceful surroundings and the excitement of steering your own sled.
The activity finishes back at the base after the ride, where you return your gear before departure.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
