The most powerful and largest of deer species, moose are most active at sunrise and sunset, while during the day they often hide in thickets. Head out before sunset in a vehicle from which you can spot moose as you pass. Like all animals, moose are unpredictable and therefore moose sightings cannot be guaranteed, but rest assured your guide will do everything they can to ensure you spot one of these majestic creatures and enjoy your foray into the Finnish wilderness.
Following the safari, hunker down and taste some traditional gingerbread and blueberry juice. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the forest and relax after the day's adventures.
