Aurora Hunting By Car
Join us in Sirkka (Levi) for an evening dedicated to finding the best possible place to see the Northern Lights. The tour lasts 3–4 hours.. We leave the village and follow real-time aurora forecasts and weather updates, adjusting our route throughout the night to look for clearer skies. This flexible approach gives you a realistic chance of seeing the auroras when conditions allow.
We travel in a warm and comfortable car and make several stops to check the sky and enjoy the quiet of the Arctic night. If you want, we can take photos of you or, if visible, the auroras using our Canon EOS 6D Mark II.
Your guide speaks English, with Dutch also available. Group sizes are small and a hot drink is included.
We have one child seat available, but infants are not accepted on this tour.
Aurora Visibility
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings can never be guaranteed. Even if the radar shows clear skies, the auroras might not appear. It is also possible that we cannot reach clear areas even when the radar suggests we could. Nature decides and sometimes it does not cooperate, but we always do our best to give you a realistic chance.
Weather and Cancellation Policy
We check the weather closely up to the day before your tour.
If it becomes clear in our opinion that conditions will be too poor to reach any open areas, for example continuous snowfall or completely closed skies, we will cancel the tour. You will receive a full refund.
Please note that we also cannot guarantee open skies, even when the forecast suggests that openings should be possible.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
