Begin at our meeting point where your friendly local guide welcomes you and takes you on a short 15-minute drive to the snowy forest. After a safety briefing and clear instructions, you’ll start your adventure in Lapland wilderness.

Once there, you’ll be equipped with snowshoes and given essential tips to help you find a shelter in the forest using a simple map and your guide’s advice. This hands-on task lets you practice real survival skills like navigating the snowy terrain, building a shelter, and starting a fire in challenging conditions.

Warm up by your fire with a hot drink, while your guide shares fascinating stories about Lapland’s wildlife and culture—you might even spot rabbits hopping through the snow! Throughout the adventure, your guide supports you to ensure you feel safe and confident.
Work together with your group to build a cozy shelter—a traditional lavvu (tipi) or using natural features—promoting teamwork and camaraderie. Gather around a fire to learn safe fire-starting techniques while roasting sausages and sipping hot drinks, sharing stories and laughter with your companions.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
