Duration: 02:30 hours

Description

In a private professional kitchen in Antibes Old Town, spend two and a half hours with cheeses from the region and French wines, from Provence rosé to grand cru bottles.
A few steps from the ramparts of Antibes Old Town, a professional kitchen opens for the evening.

On the long oak table, the cheeses are laid out as a progression: fresh, soft-ripened, pressed, blue-veined, from the mildest to the most assertive. They come from producers in the region and from established French houses, and are served with bread and a few well-chosen condiments.

The wines follow the same logic. You start with a Provence rosé, move through the whites and finish on the reds, with grand cru bottles among those opened. At each pour there is time to understand what is happening: where the wine comes from, why it works with that particular cheese, and what changes when you reverse the order.

The selection moves with the seasons and with what the producers bring in, so no two tastings are quite the same.

You leave knowing how to build a cheese board, how to choose the bottle that goes with it, and how to talk about both without hesitating.

The group never exceeds twelve guests, seated around a single table. The tasting is held in French and English.
