## A ceramics café in the heart of old Hyères – Maison Remère

Step inside Maison Remère, a ceramics workshop and boutique located in the heart of the Parcours des Arts, in the historic center of Hyères, and enjoy a creative experience to share alone, with your family, or with friends.

Take a seat on the terrace, in the shade of the hackberry trees, or in the workshop, choose a piece from a selection of original ceramics handmade by the ceramist, and then let your imagination run wild. Cups, bowls, plates, vases or small everyday items: each piece has its own shapes and character. Here, there are no mass-produced ceramics to decorate, but rather original creations conceived and made in the workshop.

### A creative break, at your own pace

After choosing your piece, explore the colors and decoration options, then personalize your ceramic to your liking: delicate patterns, graphic compositions, bright colors, or more spontaneous inspirations. No previous experience is necessary. I will support and advise you throughout the workshop to help you bring your idea to life.

A beverage is included in your package: coffee, tea, or another beverage offered on site, to enjoy during your creative session.

### Choose your piece

The price of the workshop depends on the piece chosen:

- **€25**: Set of two glasses, bowl, trinket tray or set of four espresso cups.
- **€35**: mugs, plates, bowl-plates or boxes.
- **€45**: vases, pitchers, carafes or trays.

The price includes the chosen piece, the decorating materials, the glazing, the firing in our ceramics kiln, and a drink. So you don't need to bring anything except your curiosity and your desire to create.

### Leave with a unique creation

Once you have finished decorating, your piece will remain at the workshop for the technical finishing stages: glazing and firing. These processes will give it its final appearance and bring out the colors.

Your creation will generally be ready within two weeks. You can then come and pick it up directly from the workshop.

**Are you just visiting Hyères?** No need to give up your creation! If you are unable to come back to pick it up, we can arrange for it to be shipped to your address. Shipping costs are an additional fee and are calculated based on the shipping method and destination. Each piece is carefully packaged to ensure it travels in the best possible conditions.

Maison Remère is a ceramic design house where each piece is conceived, shaped and fired in the workshop. The ceramics café invites you to discover this world in a different way, by taking the time to create a personal, useful or decorative object that will serve as a souvenir of your time in Hyères.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
