Description

Discover the beauty of Banff on a guided tour. Visit Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake and Johnston Canyon. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Bow Valley Parkway and explore Banff town.
Begin your day very early to catch the first shuttle. Your first stop is the legendary Moraine Lake. Arriving at sunrise is a non-negotiable for a unique experience. The soft morning light on the Valley of the Ten Peaks is unforgettable and beats the crowds.
Note : Moraine Lake is accessible from June 1 to October 14. For tours between October 15 and May 31, when Moraine Lake is closed, we’ll visit Banff Avenue or Gondola instead and explore the charming Banff downtown area during winter.

Spend time walking the Rockpile Trail for that iconic viewpoint. The stunning turquoise color is most vibrant in the morning. This early access provides a serene moment at one of Canada's most photographed locations.

Take the connecting shuttle to Lake Louise. Witness the vast, emerald lake dominated by the Victoria Glacier. For a unique perspective, walk the flat Lakeshore Trail to the far end of the lake. The views back towards the Fairmont Chateau are spectacular.

Next, Emerald Lake, located in Yoho National Park, is famous for its stunning turquoise-green waters surrounded by towering mountains. It’s a peaceful spot for walking, photography, or canoeing in summer, offering breathtaking views year-round.

Just a short drive from Emerald Lake, the Natural Bridge is a remarkable rock formation carved by the powerful Kicking Horse River. This natural wonder showcases the force of water shaping stone over time and is easily accessible for a quick scenic stop.

Then, journey to the thunderous Johnston Canyon. Hike the engineered catwalks to the Upper Falls. The trail carved into the cliff face is a unique attraction itself, bringing you face-to-face with the powerful, cascading water.

Descend from the lakes and drive to Banff town. Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Banff is a charming mountain town known for its breathtaking scenery, crystal-clear lakes, and abundant wildlife. Located inside Banff National Park, it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and vibrant culture. Visitors can explore Banff Avenue’s shops and cafes, or enjoy stunning viewpoints. This offers a hearty meal after your morning adventures.

Next, explore a hidden gem: the Cascades of Time Gardens. These stunning, free gardens are a peaceful oasis perfect for a post-lunch stroll.

Take the scenic Bow Valley Parkway (Hwy 1A) back towards Banff for a high chance of spotting wildlife like elk and bears. Drive slowly and be prepared to stop for photos safely.

Enjoy the scenic views from the Banff Gondola (reservation recommended) or relax at a cozy pub downtown. Reflect on a day that perfectly blended iconic lakes with memorable local experiences.
Note : A visit to the Banff Gondola is optional and depends on the group’s time and interest.

End your day with a gentle walk along the Bow River Trail. The evening light on the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and Mount Rundle is the perfect, peaceful conclusion to your ultimate Banff adventure.
