Description
Discover the most famous estates and châteaux of the prestigious appellation. Small groups (8 people max.) or private tours (on request), with driver and sommelier who is an expert on the region.
Your bilingual (French/English) guide will pick you up at 09:30 in Avignon, in front of the tourist office or Restaurant Sevin, in a brand-new, air-conditioned vehicle.
We'll begin our discovery of Châteauneuf-du-Pape with an introduction to the vineyards, followed by a tour of the cellars and wine tasting at 2 emblematic estates in the southern Rhône appellation.
You'll enjoy a typical Provencal lunch in a fine restaurant (not included, approx. €35 per person).
In the afternoon, we'll visit a historic estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and taste their wines. The day will end with a private tasting in our historic cellar in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where we'll offer you our personal selection of wines for tasting.
We'll drop you back in Avignon at around 17:30.
We offer a grouped shipment service of all the wines available for tasting on this day. You'll have the opportunity to share your experience of the wines tasted during your visit!

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
