Enjoy a full-day trip dedicated to the emblematic plant of Provence: lavender. Discover the real Provence with its typical villages, Senanque Abbey, open-air markets, and breathtaking landscapes.
Experience a tour in the lavender area during the blooming season.
You'll discover the lavender fields in full blooming in the valley of Luberon or in the mountains around the village of Sault which is considered as the capital of lavender.
Your driver will stop at the best spots where you can enjoy the view and take pictures from and to the fields.
Depending the day of the week, you'll have time to enjoy a provençal market at a picturesque village on the way.
Photo stop near Gordes to admire the amazing view at this village ranking among the most beautiful villages in France. Visit of Roussillon, built on top of an ocher cliff, with its houses and walls painted using the different colours of the natural pigments contained in the soil. This natural ocher region is the largest one in Europe.
You'll have a visit to the Lavender Museum, there, you'll learn more about the lavender and lavendine; a film will show you the fields, the harvest and the distillation process, then you'll discover the museum with a collection of stills used for the distillation. A shop of fine cosmetic products elaborated with the pure lavender 100% natural coming from the farm "Le Chateau du Bois".
Between June 15 and July 15, an extra stop for pictures at the Senanque Abbey for its wonderfull view with lavandine fields is provided.
