Propriano: Scandola, Girolata, & Calanches de Piana Scandola Nature Reserve, Girolata, & Calanches de Piana

Embark on a day trip by RIB to Scandola, Girolata, and the Calanches de Piana, with snorkeling, swimming breaks, and a stop for lunch at your leisure.
Set sail from the port of Propriano for a day trip on a rigid-hull inflatable boat to discover the most beautiful sites on the west coast of Corsica: the Scandola Nature Reserve, the village of Girolata, and the Calanche de Piana. Thanks to a speedboat, you can easily reach remote areas while enjoying a spectacular journey.

Head for Scandola, a protected site renowned for its cliffs, coves, and marine wildlife. During the crossing, it is not uncommon to spot marine mammals, including dolphins (depending on your luck). In the morning, you will explore the north, west, and south sides of the reserve before taking your first swimming/snorkeling break among the fish (masks provided).

You will then head to the small village of Girolata, which is accessible only by boat or on foot. A stop is planned between noon and 2:00 pm for lunch at your leisure: you can choose between the on-site restaurants or a picnic on the beach, at your own pace.

At 2:00 pm, you will depart from Girolata to visit the Calanche de Piana, with its caves and impressive red granite cliffs. Another swim stop is planned in this stunning setting. On the way back, you will also pass by the famous Sanguinaires Islands, with another swimming stop to make the most of the day.

Drop off at the port of Propriano around 5:30 pm. The tour is limited to 12 people to ensure a friendly atmosphere.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
