As soon as you arrive at the departure point in Saint-Gilles, you'll be welcomed by the Houseboat Camargue team and your skipper. After a brief introduction to the loungeboat and safety instructions, you'll take your seat on board to start sailing. The boat slowly leaves the dock and enters the Camargue canals, quickly offering a feeling of calm and disconnection.
As you glide along, you'll discover the iconic landscapes of the Camargue: the famous Camargue bulls, the reed beds, the birds, and the region's unique wild atmosphere. The skipper shares anecdotes and information about the area. Depending on the option you choose, an aperitif or a meal is served on board, giving you time to savor the moment while enjoying the scenery. The ride continues peacefully before heading back to the starting point, with your head full of images and memories.

Before booking, please note that the activity takes place outdoors and on the water, and that it can be influenced by weather conditions. You'll board at the Saint-Gilles quay, and there's free parking nearby. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory, provided on board. After booking, you'll get specific instructions on the departure time, exact location, and chosen dining options.
The starting point is at the private pontoon, accessible via a gray gate with the Houseboat Camargue sign. Spot your skipper, Raphaël, who's easy to recognize thanks to the company logos on his outfit. He'll welcome you for the briefing and boarding on the loungeboat.

- The price includes free parking and a personalized welcome upon arrival. Enjoy music on board, personalized catering according to your choices, as well as anecdotes and comments from the skipper throughout the ride. You'll get a private skipper, a visit to exclusive places off the beaten track, blankets for your comfort, and drinks and food (aperitif or meal depending on the option chosen). Boarding is done without waiting, and the loungeboat is fully privatized for your group.
NOT INCLUDED
- Transportation costs to the starting point aren't included. Personal extras like extra drinks, souvenirs, or tips for the skipper aren't included in the price. Any additional catering or service options not selected at the time of booking may be billed separately. Personal insurance for injury or damage isn't included, and participants are responsible for their own coverage.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
