Montpellier : Journée complète visite Picpoul de Pinet

Discover the Thau Basin through a boat trip in the oyster beds. Taste it with an oyster farmer and enjoy the visits and tasting of two wineries : AOP Picpoul de Pinet and AOP Muscat de Frontignan.
Starting from Place de l'Europe in Montpellier at 9 am. You have to come 15 min before to make sure i have time to give you all your equipment ! The guide will be next the grey minibus.
You will be immersed in the Picpoul de Pinet terroir. You will climb aboard a local fisherman's inflatable boat for a 3.5 hour trip on the beautiful Etang de Thau. He will let you now everything about the Thau basin like the culture of fishing, the production of oysters and you will enjoy a moment of swimming in the pond.
Enjoy a stop at an oyster farm where you will be shown the production of oysters before tasting them on the edge of the pond.
Then, you will discover the origin of the appellation through a guided tour of an organic wine estate. You will meet the winemaker who will explain his job and you will taste the white wines of the appellation.
To complete the visit of the region, you will go to the vineyards of the Muscat de Frontignan appellation where you will be told all the secrets of this particular wine, you will visit the cellar and you will finish with a tasting of natural sweet wine.
