Once having been in Georgia, You want to stay, or at least come again. And also - to take some part of it home with you, for example, a jar of unique Georgian honey. But, how to choose exactly the one that has absorbed all the variety of plants inherent only in this area, among the numerous honey shops under the sun or long supermarket counters? This is my tour. And although I myself am already a beekeeper, but in the recent past I was an ordinary, unsophisticated buyer of honey. I learned something that beekeepers and honey sellers never talk about, the other side of modern beekeeping. We will start with a little digression into the history of beekeeping. You will see a beehive in a living tree, log hives and other unusual beehive designs. Then I will tell you in detail and show you all the negative aspects in the technologies of modern beekeeping, because of which I never want to consume honey that is sold everywhere. I will give you simple criteria, thanks to which you will learn how to find truly natural honey without the admixture of chemical drugs and sugar, not only in Georgia, but also in your own country. You can also taste some of the unique varieties of local honey. After that, I will take you to the Mtirala National Park in a way that only locals go. At the end of our tour, you can have lunch in a Georgian house, in a family from among my good neighbors

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Do not come drunk. Do not book a tour if the main theme of my excursion, dedicated to honey and bees, does not interest you at all. A walk in the forest and lunch are secondary events and complement the main theme.
The excursion location is located 15 km from Batumi in Chaisubani. Transfer is optional and paid additionally. You will be picked up at your address from Batumi or Kobuleti to the meeting place and taken back for 60 GEL. You can get to the activity site by minibus 40ა, taxi or your own car.
INCLUDED
- The first part of the meeting is dedicated to honey and bees.
- The second part of the tour is a walk in the forest.
NOT INCLUDED
- Purchase of bee products at your request.
- The third part of the excursion - lunch at my neighbors' house is optional and is paid additionally 35 GEL per person.
- Transfer to the meeting place is optional and is paid additionally. From Batumi and back 60 GEL per car 4 seats.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
