1. Badiauri – Traditional Georgian Bread Experience ✨
Our journey begins in the small village of Badiauri, famous for its traditional bakeries. Here you will see how the iconic Georgian shoti bread (lavash) is baked in a clay oven over firewood. If you wish, you can even try baking it yourself and experience a small but authentic part of Georgian village life.
2. Mzisguli – Local Flavors & Wine Tasting ✨
Next, we visit a cozy Kakhetian spot where you will enjoy a tasting of chacha, churchkhela, fruit pastila, honey, and traditional Georgian cheese. You will also taste three famous Georgian wines: Kindzmarauli, Saperavi, and Rkatsiteli. The beautiful vineyard surroundings make it perfect for photos, and you can try on traditional Georgian costumes.
3. Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino – A Sacred Place ⛪
One of the most spiritual places in Kakheti awaits you. The peaceful monastery of St. Nino is surrounded by beautiful gardens and breathtaking views. Many visitors believe this is a place where wishes come true. If you like, you can walk down to the nearby holy spring.
4. Sighnaghi – The City of Love ❤️
We continue to the charming town of Sighnaghi, often called the “City of Love.” With its colorful houses and cobblestone streets, it reminds visitors of a small Italian town. Here you will explore the historic 18th-century fortress and enjoy panoramic views over the Alazani Valley.
5. Telavi – Wine Tasting in the Heart of Kakheti ✨
In Telavi, the capital of the Kakheti region, you will enjoy another wine tasting of four different Georgian wines. While here, you will also see the legendary 800-year-old plane tree, one of the oldest and most famous trees in Georgia.
