Take a break from the bustling streets of Tbilisi and enjoy a hike through the Georgian countryside. With a private guide, drive past the Zhinvali Reservoir and reach the ancient fortress and the Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument.

Then, head to the village of Juta to begin your hike along the Chaukhi ridge, which offers stunning views of the lake and the Caucasus Mountains. In extreme weather conditions, the route will pass by the Zhinvali Reservoir.

On the banks of the Aragvi River, find the only fortress in Georgia that has survived to this day in its original form. Walk around the Ananuri defensive complex and feel like a resident of the Middle Ages.

Near Gudauri, on the edge of a mountain, see the Arch of Friendship. This is the highest point of the pass and an ideal place to forever subjugate the mountains. From the village of Juta, the hiking route begins here. This is one of the highest points, 2,200 meters above sea level.
