You will see the Georgian winemaking technology "qvevri", taste many types of Georgian wine, bread, honey "chacha" and much more, visit the city of love Sighnaghi, and the Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino
Manavi and Badiauri. The first stop in Kakheti is two villages where you will try homemade wine, Georgian Snickers - churchkhela and "dedas puri" bread, which you can bake yourself in a traditional bakery.
Photogenic Sighnaghi. You will walk along the stone streets of the "Italian" town, surrounded by ancient ramparts and towers. You will admire the wooden balconies, panoramic views of the Alazani Valley. And you will get acquainted with the history of Sighnaghi, built by King Erekle II in the middle of the 18th century.
St. Nino Monastery in Bodbe. Next on the program is a place of special significance for our people. It is here that the Christian enlightener of Georgia is buried. You will inspect the complex, touch the ancient history of the country and appreciate the beauty of the monastery courtyard.
Telavi. In the capital of Kakheti, you will listen to stories about the famous rulers who lived here. See a thousand-year-old oak. Visit a wine cellar, where you will taste Georgian wine and learn about the technology of its production in special kvevri vessels.
After lunch at the restaurant, we will go back to Tbilisi through the picturesque Gombori Pass.
