Reserve your entry ticket to Cologne Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in the world. See over 850 different species of all shapes and sizes for an enjoyable day out for the entire family.
Explore the 2-hectare Asian elephant park and see the herd roaming together. Visit the Hippodom, a spacious habitat that recreates an African river environment. See many small animal species, as well as larger creatures such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and Sitatunga antelope.
Embark on a jungle adventure in the Historical South America House and explore landscapes with sloths, armadillos, salt cats, howlers, monkeys, piranhas, and many more inhabitants of Central America. Enjoy new highlights like the Amur Tiger facility, where you can observe the big cats up close.

Visit the Clemenshof, a replica of a traditional farm that is home to native German species. Say hello to some of the farmyard animals at the petting zoo (only goats and sheep can be petted), a perfect activity for families.
Stroll through the Rainforest Hall, where you can see a variety of Central and South American jungle species including sloths, howler monkeys, and piranhas. See free-flying tropical birds and reptiles roaming throughout the hall.

Opening Hours:
Summer: 1 March to 31 October 2023 from 9 am - 6 pm; last entry: 5:30 pm (animal houses close at 5:45 pm)
Winter: 1 November 2023 to 28 February 2023 from 9.00- 17:00 pm; last entry: 4:30 pm (animal houses close at 4:45 pm)
Disabled visitors pay the standard entry prices. If the disabled badge is marked B, their accompanying person does not pay an entry fee (the accompanying person must be a minimum age of 13)
Wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge. Please reserve in advance, info@koelnerzoo.de
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to enter the Cologne Zoo and Aquarium
Dogs are not permitted in the zoo for safety and health reasons
Handcarts can be hired on-site for a fee, no reservation is required
Cologne Zoo is located in the heart of Cologne at Rieler Str. 173, 50735 Cologne. From Cologne main station you can reach the zoo via the underground train line 18 and from Ebertplatz via bus line 140.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
