The Neckar, a truly romantic river, strives toward the mouth of the Rhein as it flows through Mannheim. Its last few kilometers are nothing like the fields, forests, and meadows that typify the Neckar area, but there’s a lot to discover there. On this tour, you’ll see that cityscapes and industrial areas can have quite a lot of charm as well.
Route: along the Neckar, we’ll pass the Collini Center on the way to the Museum Ship. Then, the path continues on the shores of the river to the Pop Academy and over the Jungbusch Bridge to the other shore.
Finally, we’ll go by the fire station and the Neckar boardwalk before coming to the Mannheim rowing club Maruba and crossing the Schleusen Bridge. From there, it’s a short way through Neuostheim to Seckenheim. The route will take us back by the Mannheim Airport and the television tower. Should the weather wreak havoc, pour buckets of rain down from the sky, or blanket us with a winter storm, the tour will of course be cancelled. Because we keep an eye on the weather and the forecasts are usually quite accurate, we can always tell with two days' notice whether our city safari will take place.
Anyone who is at least 14 years old and has at least a moped license may take part. Participants must also weigh between 45 and 115 kg and be at least 1.40 meters tall.
If you have serious physical restrictions, it’s better that you not take this tour. The same goes for riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs. As with any other vehicle, riding a Segway while intoxicated is not permitted.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
