This tour is led by well-versed guides, employees of the Mannheim Tourist Information Bureau. They will take you to selected fascinating sights within the city, and tell you all about the foundation and development of Mannheim. The joys of Segway riding are an additional attraction.
You will start at Mannheim Station, once described as the "Mannheim milk bottle," and travel onwards to the water tower on beautiful Friedrichsplatz. After this you will pass the monument to Carl Benz, inventor of the car, and the Luisenpark, on your way over the Kurpfalzbrücke, through the city's Baroque grid to the marketplace. After this you will visit the synagogue, the town hall, and the Reiss-Engelhorn Museum. The route then turns towards the palace, and then back to the start point, Mannheim Station. If the weather goes funny, if it's pouring rain or if deepest winter decides to set in early, the tour will of course be postponed. The organizer keeps a close watch on the forecasts, and should be able to tell you with certainty 2 days in advance whether the city safari can take place.
Participants must be: over 15, between 45 and 115kg (100 - 250lb), at least 1.40m tall, and in possession of a driver's license of at least motorcycle class.
Those with severe physical restrictions are advised not to take part. As with all other vehicles, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly forbidden.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
