From the meeting point in front of the Tourist Information Office in the Falkenhaus on the Upper Market Square, the guided tour passes the Gothic St. Mary's Chapel, the Town Hall, and the Four-Pipe Fountain to the Old Main Bridge. It is one of the most important transport links in the city and has always brought people from all over the world to and through Würzburg. For around 300 years, 12 bridge figures have adorned the niches on both sides: they would like to be saints, but not all of them are. The tradition of "Brückenschoppen" (bridge drinking) is much younger.

Look for a historic yellow building with a striking white stucco façade on the Upper Market Square. The guide will be waiting in front of the right-hand door.
