I'll take you from Lake Tegernsee via the scenic Neureuth and the Gindelalm down to Lake Schliersee. From there, we'll take the gondola to the Schliersberg Alm, which has the most beautiful view in Bavaria
We start our 13 km hike with about 650 m of altitude at Tegernsee station and leave everyday life behind us. After the first few meters of altitude on the way to Neureuth, it becomes clear why this route is something special: the view opens up far over Lake Tegernsee, and with a clear view it even extends to Munich. A perfect moment to breathe deeply, arrive, and marvel.
Our path continues to the cozy Gindelalm. Here, not only a fantastic view of the Wendelstein awaits, but also a small well-deserved break. If you like, try the legendary homemade buttermilk – simple, honest and just right after the first stage.
Then it's downhill towards Schliersee. Once at the bottom, we change our perspective: we'll take the gondola up to the Schliersberg Alm. At the top, one of the most beautiful panoramic views in Bavaria awaits you – wide, open, and impressive. Time for regional delicacies, a cool drink, or just to let the view sink in.
Finally, you get to choose how your perfect hiking day ends:
Take the gondola back to the valley,
sporty on foot,
or with a big grin on the fast summer toboggan run down towards Schliersee station.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The tour is a guided hike with moderate climbs and requires a good basic condition and surefootedness. The route runs mainly on forest and hiking trails. The tour takes place in almost any weather – please make sure you have suitable clothing and sturdy shoes. You can stop for refreshments at the Gindelalm and the Schliersbergalm. The tour ends at Lake Schliersee with good public transport connections. You'll need to make your own way back to Tegernsee. Changes in the itinerary are possible due to weather or group conditions. The tour ends at the Schliersbergalm. You can get to Schliersee station on foot, by gondola, or by toboggan run, depending on the weather.
Meet at Tegernsee train station at the end of the platform. I'll be holding a sign that says "Prinzenweg TMT01."

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
