Leave the city of Salzburg and head south towards Germany. Pass the palace of Hellbrunn, the village and Castle of Anif, and the city of Hallein before crossing the border to Germany.

Then, drive to Lake Königsee, where you can take a boat ride to Saint Bartholomeo. From there, head to the city of Berchtesgaden, where you have the opportunity to visit the salt mine.
