Description

Discover Bremen's role as an early coffee city and enjoy a guided specialty coffee tasting in a relaxed atmosphere in a small group.
Bremen has been a coffee city for centuries.

In 1673, one of the first coffee houses in Germany opened here – at a time when coffee was still a rare and exotic luxury that reached the city via the Hanseatic trade routes.

In this one-hour experience, we'll discover how coffee shaped Bremen's merchant culture and how this tradition continues today in the modern specialty coffee scene.

This isn't a barista course.
It's a guided coffee experience that helps you understand coffee more consciously and taste it differently.

During the session:

• Learn how coffee came to Bremen and became part of everyday life
• Discover how coffee is grown, processed, and roasted
• Understand the basics of extraction in a simple and accessible way
• Join a guided tasting of a carefully selected specialty coffee

We focus on an exceptional coffee and explore it in depth – from aroma to aftertaste – helping you better perceive sweetness, acidity, texture, and balance.

In a small group setting at a local specialty roastery, this experience offers an authentic and thoughtful introduction to Bremen's coffee culture.

Perfect for curious travelers, couples, and small groups looking for a special local experience in Bremen.
