This is how the Scavenger Hunt City Game works:
The city game box contains 11 sealed and numbered envelopes, each holding riddles that need to be solved. Following clear and precise directions, you will be taken on a walk through Dresden’s wonderful historic city centre. Solve the riddles to find your way to the various sights.
Once you solve a riddle you will be given a number, which reveals which envelope to open next. You don’t know ahead of time in which succession the Scavenger Hunt City Game envelopes need to be opened. Additionally, for all the sights you visit, you will receive detailed information regarding their historical background, current use, and much more.
It’s up to you when to start your Scavenger Hunt City Game through Dresden’s historic city centre and also how long you wish to stay at each location. Let yourself be transported on a mysterious and unconventional tour! You can take a break from your City Game at any time or even continue your Scavenger Hunt on another day – just as you like.
You will pass numerous cafes and restaurants, perfect for lingering a while whenever you feel you need a rest. Experience Dresden’s historic city centre with the Scavenger Hunt City Game in a unique way. Simply book the City Game, get it sent to you or pick it up, and you’re ready to go.
You start at the Theaterplatz, in the immediate proximity of the Semperoper. Next, you will pass the Augustusbrücke and the Katholische Hofkirche on the way to Brühl’s Terrace. You can also discover the Academy of Fine Arts, with its impressive dome, and the architecturally unique New Synagogue. Of course, you will also see the famous Frauenkirche, the Dresden Castle and the Zwinger.
There is no need to make an appointment for your Scavenger Hunt City Game. Simply book the City Game box and get it sent to you (the shipping costs are already included in the price) or notify us and come pick it up during our opening times – then you’re ready to go.

• Shipping the box can take up to 4 working days
• The scavenger hunt box will be sent to you shortly before your selected date. If you need the box earlier please select an earlier date. You can do the scavenger hunt on any date after you receive the box regardless of your selected date
• Pick-up directly in Dresden is also possible from Monday to Friday. It is not possible to pick-up the box on weekends and holidays
• Please note that the office is open weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to arrange shipping for the game box. It is closed on legal holidays in Germany, and from Christmas until New Years.
If you'd like to have your Scavenger Hunt Kit delivered to your house, please give your address during the booking process.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
