"Gladiators – Die Show der Giganten" is an entertaining competition show that features a mix of spectacular and exciting contests inspired by classic gladiator fights. The participants compete in various games against each other and against a team of professional athletes, the so-called gladiators (mostly professional bodybuilders or strength athletes). The show was already on RTL from 1992 to 1994 under the title "American Gladiators."
